Bands and music are my deal. It’s good to be on tour. It’s equally as good to be at home with loved ones.

For me life is about balance and the things you learn from everything you do. I love to travel and play music and hope that it’s what I do forever.

How do you know what decisions to make or when to say (yes) or (no). If you know of a band called relient k, For me they have it “live your life for those who you love” and make your decisions based on that love.

You can never please everyone, but you can always make your dearest friends aware that they are your dearest by the decisions that you make.

Anyway just a bit of a late night .. post tour blog for you.

And some fun news that no one else knows is that now we begin pre production our second EP and let me tell you a secret. It has my favourite song yet on it!

There was once a man who walked with men and women just like you and I. He didn’t own anything we consider valuable, but he gave everything he had. He was loved, not because of his skill, not because of his power, but because he brought hope. When it was dark he was a light, when there was pain he was joy, when there was death he was life. There is no man with greater courage, for he had nothing but his life, and his life he gave.

I have learnt over the last years that following your dream is the hardest thing you can ever choose to do. It is a choice and you don’t have to make it! But you know that if you don’t nothing else will be good enough. To go after your dream takes so much hard work, all your courage to keep going when your hammered and constantly under the pressure and opinions of others, bravery to stand when it’s easier to sit, to fight when you could just run away, to hope when everyone else is without hope, to practise and work while your friends are out together, to spend the hours you should be sleeping awake because you have to work during the day for cash, not so you can buy whatever! but so you can give all your money into your dream, it is expensive, hard and all the odds are against you! BUT don’t you EVER give in and let your dream die! You were made to change history, this world needs and begs for you (for someone) to dare to take it all the way, to live their dream until it’s fufilled. Just keep swiming! There is no other option! Floating will get you no where! Promise me, you will follow your dreams! It will be harder than anything you have ever done before, but I dare you to move! The floor sucks and you know it. So get up and face your life and change the world.

I think I made a good friend tonight. Someone who I feel like I’ve been friends with for years and who understands life in a way that not everyone can grasp. Friends are a blessing and worth more appreciation than we sometimes show! This year I’ve been shown what the kindness of friends can do and I now know the type of friend that I want to be to others. ‘To give is more blessed than to recieve’ make your friendships count!!

There’s so many things that I would love to say, 

I write songs that talk about life and everything he taught me. 

He always told me that I could be all that I wanted and more than what I was when I lost my way.

He showed me there was no line, no limit and no boundary to life. He believed in me every moment of his life. I wish I could thank him again for giving my heart hope and freeing my mind to believe that nothing is impossible.

He introduced me to Jesus and played sport with me all summer, and the nights I spent in the country building things with him I will always remember.

My Dad filled any room with hope and to him I owe more than you could ever know.

P.s Dad I hope you are proud of what I am doing now and I pray that I can impact as many hearts as you did by living life to it’s fullest.

The stars are constantly above me, they seem to have the ability to fill me with inspiration and passion for why I am alive. One star by itself seems faint and small. One star surrounded by millions of others is what causes it to appear bright. Each star brings out the best in the others around it, they cause each other to shine. This is my dream.
